Safety, pace, and ride notes
The short route leaves Thirsk and heads across to Kilburn with the medium and long route riders. It’s a slight uphill drag for the first 10k though you don’t really notice it, the roads are small, quiet and picturesque from the start.
Kit, preparation, and weather
It would be nice if we could ride in club kit. Currently the weather gods are predicting sunny intervals and a gentle breeze. Nice! However suggest we take a waterproof and layers. Please bring a spare inner tube etc.
