Pedal in the Park & Balance bike sessions.
Aim: To develop a consistent, reliable off-road coaching structure to enable Ilkley CC youth to progress to CX & MTB events as well as family rides at local Trail Centres.We also use these fun sessions to springboard our youth to the Brownlee coaching sessions to learn more about road and circuit riding/racing.
The sessions are run at Riverside Gardens which is easily accessible to Ilkley and District residents, and it also offers a variety of terrain. Bradford Metropolitan District Council approve the sessions and forms part of the use of the wonderful green space. It a safe off-road cycle space to develop cycling ability and confidence along with highlighting the current lack of any easily accessible off-road cycling infrastructure in our area
