SOLSTICE RIDE: (20th ANNIVERSARY!!!!)
Are you sick of the dark, have you forgotten what sunshine looks like? It’s time for cycling druids and druidesses to bring on the solstice with a short ritual at the top of Halton Heights. I will be raiding Ged Millward’s Nan’s pantry for a bit of ritual juice to take up. As it’s a Sunday later start to hopefully catch an atmospheric sunrise at about 8:20am

Sunday 21st December
7:30am Depart from Old Bridge
If anybody fancies riding up solo or pairs not in the group, that’s fine, just set off any time beforehand. Will see you at the top of Halton Heights (Black Park).
7:40am if Doug can make it he will be hurtling by the Old Bridge around this time and he will catch riders up.
Emboldened by the Ritual, fast riders will be back in Ilkley , with optional coffee / breakfast at Stazione about 9am ready to smash out another 50 miles. I will be staying at the top to make sure all latecomers have arrived and will potter to Staz.
