Ride to see 3 Peaks Cyclo Cross
We have 3 hours to get to Cold Cotes (the pretty way) so can pedal nice and easy on the way there.
We will watch at the excellent Cold Cotes gateway, before moving on to see them go up and down Pen-y-Ghent Lane
Safety, pace, and ride notes
Nice and steady riding out please.
If you want to get a bit spicey, riding home over Halton Gill is ideal for this. Suitable groups can always split off as appropriate.
If its a nice , sunny afternoon we might stop for a pint at the Red Lion in Burnsall on our way back.
Kit, preparation, and weather
Bring your pockets stuffed with food.
Even though its a good forecast bring a waterproof just in case, it can get cold sometimes watching the Peaks. Although sometimes we have had to strip layers off in the sun.
Its that time of year, be ready for anything.
