The Coast to Coast In A Day is an iconic and challenging 150-mile ride taking in 4,500m of climbing, starting in Seascale then over the mountainous Western Lake District, through the Yorkshire Dales, across the flat Vale of York and finally the Northern Valleys of the North York Moors, finishing by the sea in Whitby.
Cyclists Fighting Cancer is a national children’s cancer charity supporting children and young people in their recovery from cancer by providing them with new lightweight bikes and specially adapted trikes. Children just like 4-year-old Jacob, who was diagnosed with leukaemia in September of last year. He absolutely loved riding his bike before he got leukaemia and is so excited with his new bike and is just starting to get confident on his legs again so the bike will be great for him to regain muscle in his legs.
