If the spring and summer racing seasons seem just too far away, the Friends of Marsden Library has an event to tide you over and whet your appetite for the year ahead.
We’re very excited to present this great opportunity to spend an afternoon with Cycling Legends Media’s Chris Sidwells, delving into the complex and fascinating world of cycling’s greatest icons.
Chris Sidwells is a freelance journalist and author with over two decades' experience working in cycling, and a lifetime involvement with the sport.
He is also the nephew of the great Tom Simpson - World Road Race Champion, Tour of Flanders winner, BBC Sports Personality of the Year, and one of Britain’s greatest ever cyclists.
This event will feature readings and an audience Q&A.
Start time is 14.30 (doors open 14.00) and the event will finish at 16.00.
