The ICC Committee is organising a link with the Aubignan Cycle Club (https://aubignancyclocabanette.org). The club is much smaller than ours, but has members whose abilities span the same A-C speeds as ours. The idea would be that we travel to Aubignan this year in early October, and the Aubignan club will accompany us on some of their favourite rides, possibly including the climb over to Gordes and back, the Nesque gorge, Mont Ventoux (of course), North over to Veaux out of Malaucene, North to the hills around Nyons, or South to Isle sur la Sorgue and the Luberon. We would either stay in local hotels/guesthouses or some of the club would be willing to host us in their homes. Non-cycling partners would be very welcome and even those who like more of a potter on a bike.
Then, in 2024, probably in July/August, we would welcome the Aubignan club to the Dales, with the same accommodation arrangements (hotel or private home) and show them the beautiful rides that we enjoy.
Each visit (us to Aubignan, them to us) would last about one week.
