Notes
a route with 3387 feet climbing, thankfully most is in the first half, after Halton Gill it's much flatter and best described as light undulation. The views and seeing Pen y ghent make the climb more than worthwhile.
Safety, pace, and ride notes
The weather looks good for the first part, but then light showers as of 8/6/21. However, this can change. Rain jackets might be advisable or something to put on for the descent to avoid getting cold. I will post the ride link for those with a gps or mobile phone linked to strava.
Kit, preparation, and weather
See above re weather. It might be good to bring something energy wise to eat on route although, dependant on time we could make this a two stop ride with a quick coffee in Settle and stop at Kilnsey or Grassington.
